About Manfred Prenzel
Manfred Prenzel studied education, psychology and sociology at LMU Munich, going to on research and teach these subjects in Regensburg and Kiel, and at TU Munich. His work focuses on teaching patterns, learning processes, learning successes, the professionalism of teachers, educational monitoring, international comparisons between school performance, quality assurance and quality development. He has led the Centre for Teacher Education at the University of Vienna since 2018. Manfred Prenzel is a member of the National Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech).
