About Birgitta Wolff

After training as a banker, she studied economics in Witten/Herdecke, at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and Harvard University. She was President of the Goethe University Frankfurt between 2015 and 2021. Her research focuses on the economics of human resources, corporate organisation and international comparative studies. Birgitta Wolff’s current roles include being HRK Vice-President for Research, Early Career Researchers, Transfer and Cooperation, and a member of the founding committee for the Agency for Disruptive Innovations (Agentur für Sprunginnovationen).
