About Julia Römer
Julia Römer studied business engineering at TU Berlin, with a focus on technical chemistry and process technology. In 2014, she founded Coolar, a company that develops refrigerators that function without any electricity and only use affordable heat, such as solar thermal energy, long-distance heat or waste heat. In addition, Julia Römer is a committee member of the Federal Executive Committee of the German Federation for the Environment and Nature Preservation (Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland e.V., BUND).
